Richard Schwary-Camas resident for 86 years!

There have been so many young and new families moving to the City of Camas in the last 10-20 years which has been so exciting! But have you ever stopped to think what Camas was like almost a hundred years ago? Who lived here when this town was just a small dot on the map? What citizens helped to shape this great town we enjoy today? Well, I am proud to say one of those native citizens is my Grandpa, Richard Schwary. Tune in and listen as he chats about Camas years ago and his memories of a different time.

Another amazing opportunity offered for students at Camas High School

Camas High School offers an amazing opportunity for students entering 9th or 10th grade at Camas High School. Your student can take all of their high school classes but integrate all different types of art to enhance their educational experience. I think this way of learning can be so wonderful. Also, AP classes may be taken with this option as well! Check it out!

Grants in our schools funded by Camas Educational Foundation

I’m sure you’ve been hearing about the big CEF auction happening February 27th at the Sheraton Hotel at 5:00pm. Well, if your wondering what kinds of grants get funded from money raised from this auction, tune into my interview with Diane Loghry and hear about this great program funded for our Camas preschoolers.
