What a delight it was to sit down with chef Peter Rudolph of the new spot Hey Jack, in Camas Washington. Just listening to what this restaurant has to offer had me craving everything. Peter and I also went out to roam the Camas Farmer’s market and talked about how he creates his dishes from the fresh and local food he acquires that day. Tune in to hear about this wonderful new space in our community where everyone is….Hey Jack.

Denis Hayes-coordinator of the first Earth Day-Part 1
I journeyed north to Seattle in January to meet with Denis Hayes, the coordinator of the first Earth Day. He is now President of the Bullitt Foundation. Denis grew up in Camas, WA and I wanted to talk to Denis about his experience coordinating that first Earth Day back in 1970. How did it happen? What did he learn? How did this opportunity present itself? Listen in as Denis shares his story and how you need to grab the brass ring, when the ring is there. I hope this interview inspires you to take chances, look outside the box and think of what YOU can do to make a difference somewhere in the world. This is part 1 of a 6 part series.
